Students should be able to plan, design and produce different types of media (A / V storyboards, website architecture)

Step 1: Research 7 Wonders Links Below and Choose Collection



Option 1: 7 Natural Wonder of North America

Option 2: The New Provisional Natural Wonders of the World

Option 3: The Canadian 7 Natural Wonders

Information to gather



1. How were these 7 selected?
2. Exactly where are each located? (include google map?)
3. Why are each considered a wonder?
4. What is the nearest city to stay in during a visit?
5. Photographs (please record sources for copyright protection purposes) (perhaps a slide show gallery?)
6. Youtube links of amateur or professional tourist video for each. (use the youtube multimedia widget)
7. Flags of respective countries, states, or provinces (again record sources)
8. A personal safety rating out of 10 for travellers to the area (0 = Very Dangerous, 10 = 100% SAFE)

Sign up for a free account or use your teacher's assigned username and password and log in at http://student.weebly.com 
(it is preferred that you use a teacher assigned account because they are often PRO members making you able to access PRO member elements)

Once in Weebly Complete these steps in order



1. Pick a design theme from the hundreds of choices (remember the pictures don't matter because you can change those...only the layout matters)

2. Click the large orange PUBLISH button in the top right.

3. Choose a domain name.  ex.  examplename.weebly.com   OR use the format your teacher suggests.
(Now that you have published anyone in the world can visit your site each time it is published by going to your domain name   ex.  example name.weebly.com  in their browser)

4. Optional**   Set a password for your site so only you, your teacher, and your peers can access your page. UNDER SETTINGS tab you can password protect site.

5. Under PAGES TAB create the following pages
Home  --> Where you explain the wonders and the project you are undertaking
Wonder 1 - Actual name (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 2 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 3 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 4 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 5 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 6 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Wonder 7 - Actual name  (Use information gathered above)
Credits - an organized page to state sources of all your information and assistance (perhaps use columns for different media types)
Blog - for a daily journal entry of what you accomplished and what you learned each day throughout the project

A total of 10 Pages

Daily

Add content to each of the pages after researching and rephrasing the information. DO NOT COPY TEXT EXACTLY (Plagerism) and for IMAGES AND VIDEO ensure sources are listed on CREDITS PAGE as you work

Do a blog entry daily stating what you learned and what you completed in that class.

When your site is complete including all copyright material properly references inform your teacher your site is ready to be marked.
